About

Senturia the Accursed was once the beloved queen of Terra Lunis, a radiant and peaceful land known for its artistry, lunar sciences, and deep spiritual connection to the energy of another world...Earth. Her reign, though brief by the measure of Anarkand’s long ages, was marked by stability and grace. Senturia was regarded as a fair and visionary ruler, whose compassion and intellect guided her people toward prosperity and cultural refinement.

However, her reign came to an abrupt and tragic end during the invasion of Terra Lunis in the 12th Era, only two centuries ago, when the United Territories of Samokov swept across the Lunian borders with ruthless efficiency.

During the assault, Senturia was captured and taken alive, vanishing from the world in a single night of blood and fire. Her people called her disappearance an abduction; her enemies called it a necessary removal. With her gone, Samokov placed its own rulers upon the silver throne of Terra Lunis, rulers who spoke Samokov’s tongue, followed Samokov’s laws, and systematically dismantled centuries of Lunian tradition.

Over the next fifty years, new laws and doctrines were forced upon the population, eroding the unique identity of Terra Lunis in favour of Samokov integration, binding trade, culture, and governance to their conquerors.

The 12e Alliance, of which Terra Lunis was attempting to join, demanded her return, declaring that should Samokov seek to annex the land entirely, they would face the united wrath of all allied nations. Samokov dismissed such threats with mockery, insisting they sought only cooperation and stability in the region.

The matter escalated to the Temple of Anark, whose ruling forced Samokov to restore Terra Lunis’s sovereignty. Yet even in their concession, Samokov held fast to one cruel condition: Queen Senturia would remain a prisoner, a living bargaining chip until new and “favourable” trade terms were established.

Today, Senturia remains imprisoned in NamKar — the Prison of a Thousand Voices, one of Samokov’s darkest creations. It is said that within its walls, the air itself is alive with the screams and whispers of the tortured, echoing endlessly through the stone, unable to die or fade. Those who have stood outside NamKar’s obsidite gates claim they can hear faint cries carried on the wind, though no one alive can confirm what truly happens inside.

Legends now divide her fate. Some whisper that Senturia is long dead, her body hidden to erase all trace of Samokov’s crime. Others claim she still lives, enduring the torment of NamKar’s voices day after day, her mind slowly unravelled by the echoes of agony that seep through every cell. There are even those in Terra Lunis who believe she has become one of the voices, her essence bound to the prison’s chorus, calling out to her people across the void.

To this day, the people of Terra Lunis still mourn for their queen and long for the day of her return. To them, she is Senturia the Accursed, not out of disdain, but out of mourning, cursed by fate, cursed by politics, cursed by the silence of those who could have saved her but did not. And so, the silver throne remains cold, awaiting the queen whose voice may never again be heard.
