The Vortex is a one-of-a-kind mothership of sorts belonging to the people of Marrakis, the Marakai. This craft is capable of bending space and time and travelling huge distances across the cosmos. The ship itself can power up the core ring around it, allowing it to escape, attack, and warp at high speeds.
There is no record of when the ship was built, let alone by whom, although it has been in Marakai possession for as long as the history books can confirm. The ship itself is unique in the sense that the core ring requires an abundance of life essence in order to power it.
