Big news, warriors — the wait is over. With the launch of the Anarkand RPG Character Creation Tool, you can finally step into the forge your legacy from scratch and take your custom-built hero into a horror-filled space experience that is constantly evolving.
This isn’t just cosmetic. Every choice you make shapes the way you play, from your race and background to your Xenosuit and Utility Gun. Every choice is unique, and the game will be shaped by you and your crew.
Choose Your Race
10 playable races at launch (with more coming in future updates).
Each race comes with unique abilities, strengths, and weaknesses.
Races influence gameplay far beyond combat — from dialogue options to special abilities in-game.
Different starting equipment, skills, credits, and Shakras ensure no two runs feel the same.
Define Your Background
16 diverse backgrounds to pick from.
Backgrounds grant bonus skills, abilities, and points, while also shaping how characters react to you.
Every background changes the way your story unfolds and how you approach the arena.
Gear Up with Your Xenosuit
Your Xenosuit is more than armour — it’s survival. It determines your starting capabilities, including:
Life support, shielding, and radiation protection.
Oxygen and toxic resistance.
Thermal protection for extreme conditions.
Speed and stealth adjustments.
Starting tech slots, maximum slots, and inventory space.
Jetpack options (and more to unlock as you progress).
Pick Your Weapon — Utility Guns
You’ll choose from 13 unique Utility Guns, each with features that go far beyond basic firepower:
Tech Slots: Determines how many modules you can install at once.
Laser Cutter Bonus: Boost your mining efficiency and resource gathering.
Basic Attack: A fallback attack when ammo or modules run dry.
Permanent Attack Bonus: Extra damage when you’ve got a weapon module installed.
Crew Recommendations: Each gun is better suited for different crew sizes (2–5 players).
Class Ratings: Track your gun’s growth from its starting class to its max upgrade potential.
