MECHANIST ABILITIES

 

TIER 1 ABILITY

 

RECYCLING

You now have the ability to loot machines, cyborgs, humecha, gen 1 and gen 2 that you find across the cosmos. This grants you two rolls from the loot table that is presented to you at the time.



LASER CUTTER ATTACHMENT

You no longer need to carry laser cutters. All weapons that you possess now have a laser cutter built in. This doesn't add any additional weight to the weapon.



ENGINEERS HANDBOOK

Increase your engineering skill by 1 point



THE FIXER

You can now repair machines, cyborgs, humecha, gen 1 and gen 2 that you find across the cosmos, providing that the option to repair is available



HUMECHA REPAIR BASIC

Out of combat you can heal your crewmates health. Only works on Humecha crewmates.

Costs 1 circuitry per 1 health point restored

OR

Costs 1 circuit board per 5 health point restored


 

TIER 2 ABILITIES

 

UPCYCLING

You now have the ability to loot machines, cyborgs, humecha, gen 1 and gen 2 that you find across the cosmos. This grants you four rolls from the loot table that is presented to you at the time



ADVANCED ENGINEERING

Increase your engineering skill by 1 point. Requires engineers handbook



HUMECHA REPAIR ADVANCED

In or out of combat you can heal your crewmates health. Only works on Humecha crewmates. Requires Humecha repair basic

Costs 1 circuitry per 2 health points restored

OR

Costs 1 circuit board per 10 health point restored



 

TIER 3 ABILITIES

 

EXPERT MECHANIST

You now have the ability to loot machines, cyborgs, humecha, gen 1 and gen 2 that you find across the cosmos. This grants you six rolls from the loot table that is presented to you at the time. Requires upcycling



MASTER OF ENGINEERING

Increase your engineering skill by 1 point. Requires advanced engineering



HUMECHA REPAIR MASTER

In or out of combat you can heal your crewmates health. Only works on Humecha crewmates. Requires Humecha repair advanced

Costs 1 circuitry per 3 health points restored

OR

Costs 1 circuit board per 15 health point restored

SMALL TURRETT

You can now build a small turret that will fight alongside you. It will act as any other crewmate or companion. Once defeated, the turret will be destroyed, but you can always build another. Note:- Only one turret can be deployed per fight.

Turret stats:

Attack: Does 1 health damage to any one enemy

Health: 1

Required to build each turret:

  1. Circuitry x 10

  2. Circuit board x 1

  3. Power Core x 1



LARGE TURRETT

You can now build a large turret that will fight alongside you. It will act as any other crewmate or companion. Once defeated, the turret will be destroyed, but you can always build another. Note:- Only one turret can be deployed per fight.

Turret stats:

Attack: Does 2 direct health damage to any one enemy

Health: 5

Required to build each turret:

  1. Circuitry x 15

  2. Circuit board x 2

  3. Power Core x 1



BATTLE TURRETT

You can now build a battle turret that will fight alongside you. It will act as any other crewmate or companion. Once defeated, the turret will be destroyed, but you can always build another. Note:- Only one turret can be deployed per fight.

Turret stats:

Attack: Does 2 direct health damage to all enemies

Health: 10

Required to build each turret:

  1. Circuitry x 20

  2. Circuit board x 3

  3. Power Core x 1



PORTABLE DATASPHERE

Allows you to read / view / or listen to datacores. Dataspheres are the technology used to read datacores. Having this in a portable form allows you to view them. Without this technology, datacores must be ignored and discarded.

Required to build a datasphere:

  1. Circuitry x 5

  2. Circuit board x 1

  3. Steel x 2

  4. Power Core x 1



PORTABLE WATER PURIFIER

You can now craft a portable water purifier. Any contaminated water sources can now be purified. The purified water can have many benefits out there in the cosmos. You can fill you water bottle with the purified water.

Required to build a portable water purifier:

  1. Circuit board x 1

  2. Steel x 1

  3. Power Core x 1

  4. Filter x 1

  5. Purification Core x 1



EMP PISTOL BLUEPRINT

You can now craft an EMP pistol. EMP pistols shut down security cameras for 2 player movements / turns. They require EMP bullets.

Required to build an EMP pistol:

  1. Any pistol x 1

  2. Circuitry x 5



MARK I EXOSKELETON

You can now craft an exoskeleton for all biological crewmates. Exoskeleton suits are simply shells. No other armour can be worn at the same time. As such, Mark I exoskeletons are highly ineffective until they are upgraded with new parts.

Initial stats for Mark I exoskeletons: Starting armour rating 1

Required to build a Mark I exoskeleton:

  1. Steel x 10

  2. Aluminium x 10

  3. Iron x 5

  4. Titanium x 10

  5. Copper x 2

  6. Circuitry x 10

  7. Circuit Board x 2

  8. Filter x 1

  9. Power Core x 1
