HERBALIST ABILITIES

 

TIER 1 ABILITIES

 

SMALL HEALTH POTION

You can now craft small health potions. ( see potion crafting table for information ) Quick look: These potions can be used any time out of combat, or used as your turn in combat. Instantly restores 10% health



SMALL POTION OF PROTECTION

You can now craft small potions of protection. ( see potion crafting table for information ) Quick look: These potions can be used as your turn in combat. Whichever crewmate you use it on will benefit from having the next attack directed at them reduced by 1. Effects end once attacked.



SMALL POTION OF POISON

You can now craft small poison potions. ( see potion crafting table for information ) Quick look: These potions can be used as your turn in combat, when you use one, it will only prove potent enough if you pass:

A xenobiology check of 20 & a Medical check of 16.

If successful, you will poison the enemy. This will do direct damage to the health of the enemy by 1 point after each round of attacks. If the checks fail then the potion didn't work and your turn is over

Add one skill point to alchemy



FLORA SCANNER

You can now access the flora scanner. When you see the flora scanner symbol, you can interact with it and reveal additional flora from your scans



ALCHEMIST'S CARRY CASE

You can now store / carry 20 ingredients inside this carry case. The case itself has a weight of 1.



OLD EARTH HERBOLOGY

You can now craft items from the recipe book "Old Earth Herbology"


 

TIER 2 ABILITIES - ( Must unlock one tier 1 ability before accessing tier 2 )

 

MEDIUM HEALTH POTION

You can now craft medium health potions. ( see crafting table for information ) Quick look: These potions can be used any time out of combat, or used as your turn in combat. Instantly restores 20% health. Requires small health potion to be unlocked first



MEDIUM POTION OF PROTECTION

You can now craft medium potions of protection. ( see potion crafting table for information ) Quick look: These potions can be used as your turn in combat. You can now craft large health potions. ( see crafting table for information ) Quick look: These potions can be used any time out of combat, or used as your turn in combat. Instantly restores 30% health. Requires medium health potion to be unlocked first



LARGE POTION OF PROTECTION

You can now craft large potions of protection. ( see potion crafting table for information ) Quick look: These potions can be used as your turn in combat. Whichever crewmate you use it on will benefit from having the next attack directed at them reduced by 3. Effects end once attacked. Requires medium potion of protection



FLORA THE XPLORER

You gain double the ingredients from flora sourced in the wild, on planet surfaces, caves and other areas, as long as you are the crewmate investigating flora sources

You can now create and craft items from the book "Alchemy in essence"



ALCHEMY 101 ( FINAL EDITION )

Add one skill point to alchemy



ALCHEMIST'S TRAVEL BAG

You can now store / carry 40 ingredients inside this carry case. The case itself has a weight of 1. Requires alchemist's carry case ( upgrade )



FAST FOOD DELIVERY

You now have a small beacon that you can activate to call upon the delivery of a Zenerdyne food crate. This crate will contain 15 ingredients. You can choose what those ingredients are, however you can only have a maximum of 3 of any one type of ingredient. You will pay the following for this service:

  1. Full standard pricing for the ingredients

  2. 50 credits delivery fee

  3. 10 credits for tip


 

TIER 4 ABILITIES - ( Must unlock two tier 3 abilities before accessing tier 4 )

DEADWOOD RISING

You can now use 1 essence to restore dead / spoiled ingredients back to their normal state. Example: you have a spoiled carrot. By using one essence this spoiled carrot is restored and becomes a carrot, meaning it can be utilised again.
